First Day Back | The Essentials

I'm sorry I have been a tad absent lately. I was in the process of moving and I am now settled in! Pictures of my apartment are to come. Since tomorrow is my first day at a new school, new city, new apartment, and new friends to be made I know I'm not the only one who is just a tad scared to be or do something new. I have come up with an outfit and some essentials that will hopefully put your guys first day at ease.

I love a backpack with lots of zippers and pockets. Pockets are everything. I don't like to get too much school supplies before the first day however. I usually just wait till I know more of what to expect in the class and what they require. So i personally buy one binder to put everything in and a notebook to write down notes for each class. I also think Post-it notes are life. I literally put them everywhere around my desk or mirror or in my notebooks. THEY. SAVE. YOUR. LIFE. Trust me. I also need highlighters for the first day to show me if something is really really important to remember. You also need a water bottle because there is no need to pass out the first day of class because you're dehydrated. I love Hydroflasks. My sister got me obsessed and they keep your drink cool all day long. I also carry any kind of lip balm, deodorant, and sanitizer with me to keep fresh.

Finally I think something lightweight and cute but laid back outfit it perfect for class. Any kind of striped shirt, acid wash shorts, high tops (or even birks), and some dainty jewelry will make you look put together and relaxed at the same time.
