Gift Guide: For Her & Him

Monday, December 8, 2014

Hey all!

Thought I would do another blog post this season about some fifty ideas you could do on your significant other!

For the women:
Makeup brishes or this super cute makeup bag that's really sassy are always winners. We can never have enough makeup brushes. Or shoes for that matter. Moccasins are always nice to just skip on and off around the house and out doing shopping. The perfect statement necklace or even some holiday inspired earrings are always great presents. Finally we love to smell good and keep our hems sing like the holidays. Bath & Body Works candles and their holiday fragrances are a must.

For the men:
You guys could have matching moccasins how cute would that be? Granted he would only wear them for you around the house so no one else can see. A nice collared shirt and tie for those date nights where you really want to go to a new restaurant and he just wants to watch the game. Even a nice watch or a built in charger to a phone case are easy wrappers.

Hope you got some ideas for your hubby's/girlfriend/boyfriend/siblings/etc.. For these vastly approaching holidays.

Enjoy!

Malori

I had to have some jacket with it and my leather one was perfect to kind of edge up the look a bit especially when you fold the sleeves up a bit it isn't too hard but softens it. Dressing Up A Basic Tee

Tuesday, December 2, 2014

Hey all!

Hope you had a wonderful holiday! I know I did but boy was it a short one.

Thought I would do a little post on 3 ways to dress up your favorite graphic tee you own. These are just a few ways but there is so much more you can do with it as well.

Hope you enjoy!

Xoxo,
Malori

Dressing Up A Basic Tee

Here is the first way you can dress up a basic tee. By putting some type of floral or pattern with your shirt to brighten the look up with lots of color! Tucking the shirt into the skirt is classy and looks kept together.

Next I wanted to make the look a little fancier but still casual to go out. A statement necklace is perfect to do that. With your favorite pair of jeans, tote, and loafers you are ready for a day grocery shopping!

Finally an outfit you can wear to work or to dinner with your best friends. I liked putting some type of texture in there with the leather/suede booties and then some paneling on the leggings. Adding a dash of cod with this chic blazer to finish it off!

Few Of My Favorite Things

Tuesday, November 25, 2014

Hey all!

Just wanted to do a short post about some of my favorite items of clothing I have been loving to wear in the colder weather.

Of course I have to mention wearing olive in the fall since its one of my favorite colors to wear during the season. I paired it with my comfiest of sweaters. It is the softest thing I own. No matter how many times I wash it it is still as soft as when I bought it. Then to keep me a little warmer since it is 30-40 degrees out ( Just a bit chilly in my opinion. Just a bit.) I got my favorite, and only sadly, leather jacket. To top off this look I got my necklace that has some olive colors to make the whole look complete. Not to mention my favorite black booties that I wear 90% of the time during winter.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving full of family and friends and fun and laughter! :)
I know for me this one with be the first time I wont be home for Thanksgiving and be spending it with other family but it is still really hard being away from them for the holidays.

Changing Leaves & Layers

Saturday, November 22, 2014

Hey all!

Be careful out there today because its still a little rainy and foggy out but not near as bad as yesterday. I hope you all are doing well!

College has been crazy getting ready for our Christmas concert, plus I am doing costumes for our children show Velveteen Rabbit which premieres the 1st and 2nd of December at 7 in the Brown Center. It is coming up so fast! So much work has been put into this show and I am excited to see it come to life. Speaking of premieres did anyone else go see Mockingjay Pt 1???? IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! Let me know what you thought of it. I definitely want to read the book again because there was some things I could not remember for the life of me. But overall everything in it was just perfection as usual and Jennifer Lawrence was just aghhh amazing. Go see it you will love it!

It has been getting a little colder down here and it even snowed! If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my post of the snow. It was fun for a bit but after a day I was over it because I slipped on some ice... That hurt just a little. Again be careful in these weird weather changes.

Hope you enjoy this layered outfit!

I had some items similar to what shes wearing but I forgot to change my shoes because I was doing another outfit the same day and left them back at my house oops! Just pretend there are leopard flats there.

I hope you guys enjoy!

Wish-List

Wish-List

Hey all!

Man it is pretty darn cold outside today. Maybe 30 degrees means I can finally bust out my winter coat!!

Thought I'd share a little Wishlist with you guys! I know it's not even near December and we haven't even gotten to Thanksgiving yet but it will be here before we know it!

So let's get started! I found these boots (of course they're Sperry's) on Pinterest and immediately fell in love. They would be perfect for trekking to my classes in the thick snow. I also have had my eye on this Kendra Scott necklace for awhile and noes the perfect time to ask the gracious Saint Nick. Not to mention the fur vest and gorgeous blanket scarf to keep me warm this winter. I have to mention the perfume because let's be honest we all want to smell wonderful right? (Just agree because you should) This Katy Perry perfume smells luscious. You have to spray it to believe it. And look at that coffee mug! Doesn't that just describe everyone's Monday morning?? I'm not a coffee drinker but I sure love some hot cocoa and tea in the morning before classes. Last but not least you are probably wondering why the sewing machine? Well I'm glad you asked. Since I am helping with costumes in the theatre department and it is needed for my major I thought I'd put it on here!

And there you have it folks! A little Wishlist/what I have been admiring from afar list!!!

Hope you enjoyed! Stay warm.

Malori
