I hope you are enjoying your holiday's already I know that I am. I am ready to start eating some stuffing, turkey, and some potatoes. But most of all Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday to spend with family and friends. And it is so easy to have fun in inexpensive ways.


Some budget friendly ways that I spend time with my family this holiday is we love playing board games. Whether it be Mouth Gaurd, Jin, Apples to Apples, or Dominoes. We are always gathered together laughing, telling stories, and making tons of memories. If you don't like board games then going to your nearest park and playing some touch football or even going to play mini put put. All of these could be some fun inexpensive ways to spend your holiday! This year we also are using this company called Dream Dinners and they prepare the food for you and you either go in and put it together in bags with a friend or family member and then you can make it at home in less than 15 to 30 minutes. It is inexpensive and saves you money from having to go to the store and pick up a million things you may not even use.

My outfit is also semi on budget. I like to dress up for Thanksgiving but not go out of my way. I fell in love with this pumpkin colored shirt SCREAMS fall. Then I wanted a small edge so I added my liduid leather leggings, and softened the outfit with my ash brown booties. I finished it off with some gold accessories and one of my favorite colorblocked bags from DSW.

So originally I couldn't find anything in my closet that even remotely was red and blue (except for some flannels) so I made due with what I had! Then I couldn't decide which outfit I liked better so I decided to post about both of them!

Girl's Day Out

Hey all!

My mom and sister and I all went to get pedicure's this morning at this new place called "The Nail Bar." Cutest nail salon I have ever been too. It is very modern fashion with a chandelier and they had "adult" beverages and my sister and I got an Arnold Palmer. It was all very relaxing and a fun girls morning/afternoon.

Black Is Back

Hey all!

Try saying "black is back" 3 times fast. Well I can't because I am horrible with tongue ties.

My work told us that we had to wear leggings to promote them since they are on sale. So of course I had to go out and buy some because all my winter stuff is in Kansas, and it's too hot to wear anything long here so I don't have anything.

I am going to see a movie later today, "The Boy Next Door" which I hope it is pretty good because it received mixed reviews. Then going to diner with some friends. I went with something I could go out with friends or go to a party with. This dress is just perfect. I can wear it for Christmas or New Years party! I am all about chevron and gold sparkle. I had to have some jacket with it and my leather one was perfect to kind of edge up the look a bit especially when you fold the sleeves up a bit it isn't too hard but softens it. Hey all!

Aren't you glad it's Friday finally? I am too.

It has been a very long week surprisingly not filled with a lot of tests but just a lot of homework and sickness. If you ever plan on going to college or are in it right now or if you already have been then you know what I am talking about. At one point in your freshmen career you will get so sick it will feel like death. It has been spreading like wild-fire here.

My friend got the flu and she has been as sick as a dog. I am the type of person who HATES to be sick so don't be offended if I don't hug/touch/or want to be around you until you are better.

So please take care of yourself! I know it isn't just college a lot of people I know have been sick not just here in Kansas.

On a side note my choir/band concert is in a month!!! The theme is America. Guys you really need to check it out. It is at the Brown Center at Cowley College located in Arkansas City, KS. Starts at 7 and the choir starts and the band follows right after. You seriously don't want to miss either. Also Little Shop of Horrors is our fall Musical and it's showtimes are October 30th, 31st, and Nov 1st. Come out and support if you are interested!!

Today was a scholarship audition day and my teacher told me to dress like I was going for an interview. I think I nailed it.

Joggers Review

Hey all!

Can you believe it's already back to school season? Crazy huh!

I bought these Joggers from Forever 21 Online and I actually really like them. They are super comfortable and I didn't think they would look good on me but I do like them. It's just the matter of styling them in many ways. I thought I would only be able to wear them with crop tops but nope. Surprisingly they are very versatile. I can wear them with a shirt tucked in or a crop top and for shoes I could wear some heels, flats or even sandals.

Neutral Hues | Chambray

Hey all!

 

So I saw one of my favorite blogs post about neutrals and how to balance them and I thought that would be fun to do!

 

I wish I wore this white collared tank more but now I know it looks great with this skirt. I also am in love with these oxfords from Rue 21. They are this lace crochet material and then the non cut out part is suede. They're perfection.

 

This outfit is very soft muted colors that really compliment each other and all body types. From my crème shoes to my white shirt and light chambray top everything flows together effortlessly!

Spring Time| Date Night

Hey all!

I hope your spring break was nice I know mine was. It has finally transferred over to the spring weather/no wind summer weather here. 

I have been planning on making a post about a date night outfit and here it is! Since now it is spring this outfit does gravitate more towards the season. I wore this peplum flower printed top and black leathered pencil skirt. It's just dressy enough and laid back you can walk around a mall, go to a basketball game, see a movie, or anything else. I wore sandals and gold jewelry to match.

I also curled my hair differently to make it a little more effortless and beachy.

Transitioning Season's

Hey all!

Today or really for the past few days I have been trying to figure out how to still stay warm and look like Spring is about to come any second!

I found the answer!! I paired my white slouchy sweater with some bright pink rolled up jeans and added my studded sandals and white jewelry. 

Rolling up my jeans and putting sandals on with studs made me feel the transition to a different season. The studs have me this laid back feel and the bright pink is totally on trend for this Spring.

The Little Things

Hey all!

So today was actually... Relaxing! Haha. I didn't really do anything stressful or boring it was really nice. My friend Kerissa and I went and got sushi for lunch and it was nice to catch up with a friend. It's so hard to find friends to eat sushi with me and the place we went to was great. It has this conveyor belt that goes around the resturant with at least three plates for each item. The food ranges from the color of the plate! Like purple is $5 and white is $1.50. So you could get 7-9 plates for about $20. I think it's a good deal an the food really is good.

On another note, I did just get the Naked 3 palette *squeals for joy*!!!! And I completely fell in love with it. I am going to do a step by step tutorial on my eye look in these photos evaluate I have. Been. Obsessed.
