Cameo Casual

Wednesday, January 7, 2015

Hey all!

I can't believe that winter break is officially ending and I will be going back to school this Saturday which happens to be my birthday as well. I am turning 19, and I feel super old.

In other news I am rounding up my friends for some last hangouts and planing dinner with family to celebrate my birthday! I wish I didn't have to go but honestly it'll be fun to be back into the swing of school work. I enjoyed learning in some of my classes and I will be having some hard ones but they are all interesting :).

Anyway enjoy this super casual outfit!

Malori

Adventure's

Hey all!

I am incredibly sorry for not being able to post for almost... what a month now? Ahhh it has been way too long. I have been really missing writing on here and blogging some outfits. But don't worry I will be posting more now that I know my class schedule and activities.

I have been so busy with school work and getting used to the work load. College is definitely different than high school. First off everyone is 10X nicer. I love that, and that everyone at my school is willing to work with you and help you succeed.

Don't get me wrong I totally miss my family. My brother and sister more than anything. I also miss some of my friends. But if you're really good with keeping up with your friends then you'll be fine! For me I sometimes will forget to text or call back someone in the span of hours or days depending on my business of the week. For example this week I had 2 tests and 1 exam.

But honestly I love it. And I can't wait to be even more involved and go to one of my friend Lily's track meets. Unfortunately we don't have a football team but we have basketball and volleyball and once a month we have a free movie day! Plenty of activities and intramural to be involved in.

Will definitely keep you guys posted on social media with college! :) Hope everyone has a good week.

Enjoy!

Malori

Summer Sun

Tuesday, June 17, 2014

Hey all!

Thought I would update you on my first day of work! It was SO much fun. I had such a blast with my co workers and couldn't stop laughing. My manager made such a great point that the store is like a gym for some people because they go 2-3 times a week. I am really excited to have this job and can't wait to blog about interesting things that happen to me at work or interesting people I meet.

Today I was only running around the house and went to take care of some errands so I thought a good light weight outfit would be nice! Coral is officially my color for the summer because it's all I have been wearing. From lipstick, to scarfs, to shorts.

Funny enough my fingernails match my shorts. Again this summer I have totally been loving just basic everything and either dressing up the top half or bottom half. But this week I wanted to be really casual with super bright coral shorts.

Enjoy!

My Go-To Spring Outfit & Deep Talk

Thursday, May 8, 2014

Hey all!

This is an emotional week. Most of you will know what I am talking about. My last week of high school is next week and as much as I think I am ready for college life... I'm not. I am probably the worst when it comes to goodbyes. If we're hanging out or on the phone I'll end up saying bye and then we'll talk for another 20 minutes.

That's just the way I am because I love being surrounded by people. I don't think I could ever do online school, or work from home, or have a boring desk job were you aren't interacting with people. I feel like that is one of the reasons I love blogging and sharing myself with others. Even if it is behind a screen you see me as I truly am. I talk to you about my day or week or, if I'm really behind, my month! Even if I think what I right about is silly I know someone out there is listening and nodding with agreement. This is why I love fashion. I love that thee are other women out there who share my same concerns about the industry. How not everything has to be for someone stick straight. If you don't agree you might as well stop reading here and get off my blog because you wont be missed from my page. Thank you to those who actually read this and agree with me and support me! You're absolutely wonderful and it makes going through in design and fashion worth it!!!

Anyways getting off that little rant :).

I have been loving pairing some type of floral shirt or kimono with a body con or pencil skirt! Then I usually will pair with my watch and a cute statement necklace. It's breathable enough outside for me to be able to layer a chambray shirt on top of everything.

I hope you enjoy!

Bold Holiday Lips

Bold Holiday Lips

Hey all!

Thought I would have a little fun putting together a holiday bold lip, high end and drugstore, choices for you! I know not all of us want to splurge on something we may not wear all the time or often enough. So ready or not here we go!

High End:
1) Lime Crime~ A great high end brand almost similar formula lipstick to MAC. This particular one is very opaque and gorgeous bold red for the holidays. It doesn't come cheap though starting at $18.

2)MAC~ I am sure we have all heard of this luxurious brand. I own this lipstick and it is so mad and so bold. It is perfect and I know I can use it for a long time. This is also a little pricey starting at $15.

3)YSL~ This is also a well known brand for their pigmented lipsticks and how long lasting they are. This one is a orange based lipstick.  Again another pricey lipstick starting at around $30.

Drugstore:
1)Revlon~ My go-to lipstick brand. I love how cremey and nice the formula is.  Usually these lipsticks range from $4-6.

2)Rimmel~ A great dupe for MAC's Ruby Woo. Rimmel'a matte lipstick is wonderful substitution if you don't want to pay for a high end product. It ranges from $4-5.

3)Maybelline~ I can't express how much I love this drugstore brand. It is absolutely wonderful how opaque and creamy all their lipsticks are. Plus they are so vibrant and last a LONG time. These range from $5-8.

Hope you enjoyed this! I will be back with an outfit post of my Christmas Eve dressed up look!!
