February Birchbox

Hey all!
This month's Birchbox is all about love and Valentine's Day. If you haven't seen my first post about the company and a little info about what they're about then click on this to read it. But basically, they are a monthly beauty subscription service.
I actually liked this box a lot more than my first one. I had this perfume again and it smells basically just like the name. It is very clean and just like freshly washed linens almost which is more something my mom would like. I also didn't really care for the fruit peel because I felt like it didn't really do anything but make my acne a little inflamed after I washed it off. I absolutely loved the repair serum/creme from Bumble & Bumble is one of my favorite brands. I also loved the under eye product I feel like has really helped me look more awake and less dark circles. Finally my absolute favorite product from this box was the PBJ Smoothie stick from The Beauty Crop. I will have to check them out and see what else they sell because I have worn this color everyday since I got it.
Overall I did enjoy Birchbox but I decided not to continue with it just because I don't think it's worth the money. They don't send you products based on your preferences and the samples are incredibly small that by the time I might like the product it is empty. But I still enjoyed finding new brands!
Enjoy!

Malori

Hey all!
Spring is finally upon us and it is just lovely here is Kansas. 60s in the morning and 80s in the afternoon with a great breeze! Perfect to sit outside of my dorm and do some homework and listen to some great tunes.

Hey all!
I apologize for the wonky schedule I have had and not being able to post more often. I have 20 hours and am working in the costume department for the theater!! Our first play is October 30th and we're doing Little Shop of Horrors :) definitely come out to Ark City to watch.
College is definitely different though. I am really enjoying my classes and how different it is than high school. I'm also having fun exploring and finding different places in a small town.
For example there is this park that has a train on it and it is huge! One of my friends Sabrina is my photographer at the moment and had never seen it before so we decided we would take photos there.
I can't wait to see more of this amazingly small city. If you follow me on any social media like twitter or instagram I update pretty regularly with posts.
Hope you enjoyed my post!

Hey all!
Happy 4th Of July!!!!!!! I always love this holiday. It makes you appreciate where you live when there are are so many strict rules going on in other places. I just finished this movie last night called Argo that Ben Affleck was in. Fantastic movie. For those of you who don't know the movie here is a synopsis. "Acting under the cover of a Hollywood producer scouting a location for a science fiction film, a CIA agent launches a dangerous operation to rescue six Americans in Tehran during the U.S. hostage crisis in Iran in 1980." - IMDb. I thought the acting was very good! I thought it was a wonderful movie that portrayed a true event. There is cursing and it is rated R so fair warning.
Also because of the holiday Stylzoo is having a 4th Of July sale! They are having 40% off sitewide on all items. All you have to do is enter the code FREEDOM. Hope you all kick back and relax, grab a cold one, watch some fireworks, and enjoy some family time.
Enjoy!

Hey all!
Here is my small review on Wet Seal's Plus line that they have recently made. I have finally got my hands on a few items. *I am not sponsored by Wet Seal or any company to do this. All opinions are my own and no one else. I am not paid to say any of this.* Now that that is out of the way. I ordered this shirt and skirt to go with it. Also bought another skirt ( the black skater skirt with the bow on the front) and a graphic shirt that has an Eiffel Tower on it and gold specks.
As soon as I got the package I fell in love with each item. My only complaint is I wish I would have bought a bigger size in the bow skirt and graphic shirt because they're both cotton so I know they are going to shrink. Plus they run a tad smaller so a bigger size would have been a little loose but I like to be able to have some room in my clothes. Also, my floral crop top is not the same color as shown in the picture on the website. It is 10X brighter than that photo. I thought the coral would be a softer shade but none the less I still love the shirt. I still love all of things I bought and can't wait to get more things later on! Let me know if this was helpful to you! If you plan on buying items from Wet Seal I definitely recommend researching the material, and looking at reviews if the item has any. Because most likely the shirts you'll want to go up a size since they run a little small.
Here is a day to night outfit using these two items from Wet Seal!
Enjoy!

Hey all!
I don't know about you guys but I can't believe June is pretty much over and July is taking full swing. But that is okay with me because I am totally ready for school to start and making some fun memories in college. I am interested to see how college changes and transforms me as a person. Only because I have friends who have done a 180 on a maturity level ( in a good way).
Also if you guys like sci-fi/action/thriller/comic-book/etc movies as much as I do then you know Transformers is out!!!! My brother, sister, and I will be seeing it this week and I am hoping its better then the others because I didn't care for Megan Fox and Shia LaBouf in the other movies. Let me know if you like the movie if you have seen it already!
Today's outfit I wanted to incorporate bits of color to semi-casual dress that is just black and white and some creme oxfords. I added a pink necklace to really put the rest of the outfit together and it makes my lace flowers on my dress stand out even more. I also added some feather earrings to make it a little more chic and relaxed.

Hey all!
Thought I would update you on my first day of work! It was SO much fun. I had such a blast with my co workers and couldn't stop laughing. My manager made such a great point that the store is like a gym for some people because they go 2-3 times a week. I am really excited to have this job and can't wait to blog about interesting things that happen to me at work or interesting people I meet.
Today I was only running around the house and went to take care of some errands so I thought a good light weight outfit would be nice! Coral is officially my color for the summer because it's all I have been wearing. From lipstick, to scarfs, to shorts.
Funny enough my fingernails match my shorts. Again this summer I have totally been loving just basic everything and either dressing up the top half or bottom half. But this week I wanted to be really casual with super bright coral shorts.
Enjoy!

Hey all!
Happy Father's Day to all of your Dad's, Uncle's, and Grandfather's!!! I don't know what I would have done without my Dad all these years.
Dad you're the best. You always have great advice and are a great role model. You taught me to strive and persevere through everything I do and it has made me the women I am today. I love you!
Also I start my job today! I am so nervous and excited but mostly nervous. I am really excited to work with these ladies though because they are so nice and friendly. Which is all I have been looking for was really nice people that I'll get along with.
Here is my first day outfit. I was striving for a friendly, welcoming, and bright outfit that customers and co-workers would see me and think I am a cheery/nice person. I have learned that wearing more neutrals paired with brighter colors make you less.. well scary. Darker colors can make you look edgier and intimidating.
