The Minimalists Black Ripped Jeans

Friday, November 18, 2016

Hey all!

It is finally the weekend! It has been a rather long and stressful week. Which isn't surprising since next week is Thanksgiving and my boyfriend is flying out to visit my family and I. I cannot tell you how excited and ready I am for a small break from school. You may notice a big change on my blog as I am changing the whole theme and I will address that in my next post I promise!

I am rather excited because I finally bought a pair of ripped black jeans. I am very very very picky about rips. Because I have a long torso and shorter legs jeans hit me rather weird sometimes. So the rips will land on weird places and make me look shorter than I am which is 5'9'. I did find these ones from Rue 21+ and I cannot sop wearing them and I have so many outfits planned.

Today's outfit is rather casual and neutral. This one is for the minimalist out there when they just need to go go go and don't have too much time to worry about if it matches. I am in love with this top and all tops that have the fabric across the chest. I paired it with one of my favorite cardigans from Maurices. Then some sandals since it is still cool enough for that and a few bracelets to call it good.

Enjoy!

Lace Peplum & Aztec Shorts

Hey all!

First some exciting news! Lovesick just followed me on Instagram and Twitter!! I love this new company and the type of clothing they are selling. It is cute and affordable and isn't like most plus size companies where they ell clothes that are ugly, making you look like a paper bag. So I am going to do a small clothing haul and review the clothes I try on and what I think of the store!

The Perfect Jacket

Hey all!

Anyone watch that Super Bowl game Sunday? I did and honestly I was a little bored. I really wanted the Cardinals instead of the Panthers to go up against the Broncos because then at least it would have been an interesting game. But it was just so boring. And the halftime show was alright but it wasn't my favorite.

Something New, Something Old, Something Olive

Hey all!

I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday! I know that I have enjoyed my Christmas. I can't believe it already came and went. I totally just wanted to sleep in but my brother got us all up around 6:40 and then we opened presents and ate breakfast until 9 or 10. I think the most exciting gift I got was a record player and the Pentatonix Christmas album! I think everyone can agree that the older you get the best Christmas gift is just being with family which is something you can't buy. I love to watch my siblings open gifts though and watch the excitement on their face. Thats always my favorite part.

Wearing Olive In Summer

Tuesday, June 3, 2014

Hey all!

If your favorite season is fall like me then you have that favorite color to wear even when it isn't that season.

My favorite season is fall and early winter. I like all the warmer colors especially olive and burgundy colors. Olive is probably the color I try and put into all my season wardrobe. And for summer/spring I have been loving pairing and olive shirt or jacket with floral's or even a bright necklace or jacket.

Today I paired a lace olive shirt with a coral necklace. I really like how they compliment each other and the warm tones from my outfit really makes my coral necklace stand out. The key to doing this is to wear neutrals around the bright color. If you have to much color then it just looks like a hot mess everywhere. Neutrals help tone down everything and focus on what you want to focus on which in this case was my necklace against my shirt!

Enjoy!

Xoxo,
Malori
