Pretty much everyday is a bun day for me. Unfortunately since I cut my hair short I haven't been able to do it as often. But now I can braid my hair upside down and it'll stay!! I don't have to clip those stragglers in the back.

Enjoy my bun and outfit!

Pink & White Cutouts

Sunday, August 11, 2013

Hello there!

Sorry I haven't been posting everyday. Since I have started school again I do have other activities after school and homework so I'am trying my best to post every other day instead but no promises. Expect there to be random posts from now and then later on this year!

So back to my outfit, I finally replaced my leggings this weekend (my old ones got torn apart when I fell down the stairs at school last year). Anyways... I love them they are much more comfortable than my old ones. Paired it with some pink jewelry and flats to dress it up a bit!

My Favorite Dress: Part 2

Tuesday, August 6, 2013

My new favorite thing lately has been Skater dresses or an A-Line dress. I have seen them so often on the Youtube channels I subscribe to and Blogs and T.V shows and even just around school.

I have one from awhile ago and I actually got it from Target (go figure). Where I get all my dresses pretty much. Any who, Its just a simple black skater dress. The reason I have been loving them so much is because they always hit the best places on any girl. It accentuates the waist perfectly. They hit either right above my knee or at my knee and are just super comfortable. I personally hope this trend stays for awhile.

This was me during the school year. I paired my dress with a Forever 21+ belt, my Target leopard flats, and my bubble necklace from Charming Charlie!

Here are some other dresses I have been loving from Forever 21+!

Malori

1) This is a cute flirty dress you could wear to the movies or on a date! I think blue is really in this year. It's the only color I have been buying lately.

2) The black stripes on the shoulders make this dress a little more edgy and sophisticated than the others. It would go great with some combat boots!

3) TRIBAL PRINT! I have been dying to get my hands on something like this. I love prints like this that add a little touch to an boring outfit.

4) Thought I would throw in one that's a little different than the rest. It's sleeveless like mine but it has this broken glass/galaxy graphic going on which I personally find different!

Days 3,4, & 5: San Fran Fashion

Friday, July 26, 2013

Hello there!

Day 3:

This was my third day in San Francisco and we decided to walk around Pier 39. We did a little shopping and sightseeing later in the day.

After the pier we went to the aquatic center and we saw all sorts of different fish and even some otters!

Finally we drove past the baseball stadium and saw Coit Tower.

Found this cute fedora (I have been looking for forever) and the scarf.

My sister found this american flag beanie!

I saw the Academy of Art's building why I was there!!

Cool view of the city on our way up to Coit Tower.

China Town.

Baseball stadium.

It was pretty cold in the morning so I chose jeans and long sleeve shirt. We walked the WHOLE day so I wore my converse. I put on a vest to make the look more complete!

Day 4:

The next day we drove across the bridge, which was mighty foggy.. everyday. We decided to go to Muir Woods.

Most of the trees there were 2000 years old. It was amazing and it just smelled so good!

Coming back down we saw that the fog had FINALLY lifted from the bridge. We decided to find a good spot to get some pictures of my family with the bridge in the background. The view was spectacular. Really the whole trip all the views were amazing anywhere you looked.

My brother and mom.

The other day it started to get really hot and I actually wished I had put on shorts. So I decided the next day I would wear warmer clothes. Which really worked out since I I didn't have any other jeans or longer shirts. I chose my new shorts from Forever 21+ and a sleeveless shirt in case I got warmer. I bought this other scarf from a boutique and put it on and thought it looked adorable and California appropriate.

Day 5:

I couldn't wait to get home and sleep in my own bed. But this trip was a lot of fun with my family and something I'd love to in the future.

For our last day we decided to just drive around and just look at the sites we missed.

I got my inspiration for my last day outfit from my late night Pinterest scrolling and thought it was perfect!

Days 1 & 2: San Fran Fashion

Thursday, July 25, 2013

Hello!

Sorry I have been gone so long! I was planning on posting on my trip but there was so much walking I ended up being super tired when I got back to the hotel.

Instead I figured I would separate these next two days I am in town to post about my five days in San Francisco and what I wore and saw on my trip!

My family and I took a plane to LA and then a 5 hour train ride to San Louis Obisbo where we stayed the night. The next day we took the rental car to San Fran!

Day 1:

Here is my brother and I on the plane. We were not this smiley when we had to wake up at 4 to catch a flight at 6:30 am!

This is what the station looked like right when you walked in. Full of people.

The Train! My brother loves them so of course it was his favorite thing on the trip.

This was called the lounge car area where people played cards or listen to music etc...

Finally we made it to the hotel (which was on the beach!) We freshened up and changed into warmer clothes because it was 68!!

Found this super cute sterling silver ring in a little boutique.

On the Plane and Train ride I wanted to be super comfortable and that's what I packed for the whole trip. Stylish clothes that were breezy in that California wind but still would keep me warm in the cold nights. First day I chose a shirt I found in the sale section from H & M and I am a little late on the whole dip-dye trend but hey, loving it. I then paired it with some shorts with studs running down the sides which I changed into my cross leggings later that night. Then just put on some black bubble necklace and black sandals that were easy to take off when going through security.

Shirt/Jacket- H&M// Shorts/Leggings- Forever 21+// Shoes- Target//
Jewelry- Charming Charlie, Target

Day 2:

We got on the road again to go to Hearst Castle and drive up to San Francisco! I didn't know what to expect when going to the Castle but it was super neat to see the style and decor inside, which I personally wouldn't put my house but this was late 1800's.

My Beautiful Family <3

Pretty sad to leave the beach but knew we were seeing it later in the week.

The drive to the castle was ridiculously windy and long. I ended up putting on a jacket.

The tour guide said they used the kitchen in Hearst Castle as inspiration for Hogwarts dinning hall.

The Neptune pool was the biggest pool I have ever seen.

Shirt/Pants- Old Navy// Shoes- DSW// Jewelry- Charrlotte Russe, Boutique

Look tomorrow for the other days! Comment what you think or what you'd like to see.

Dress For Less: Target Edition

Thursday, July 11, 2013

So I had this crazy idea that I could go to target and find an outfit for $30! Which I did :) *happy dance*
I went in and found the cutest outfit ever but... I didn't try it on. Ladies that was not a wise choice. In my defense I thought, "Oh this is my size and if I hold it up against me then it'll fit later right?" Yeah wrong.

I went back and got a dress that I LOVE. And it just so happens to be hi-lo. And it also happened to be on sale for 7.45. Then I found this cute yellow/pink statement necklace that I can't wait to use in future outfits to give a piece a little color. I also remembered I had just bought these flats not that long ago also on sale!

I then decided it would be fun to have my best friends come over for a photoshoot! We had a lot of fun taking these pictures and goofing around in the wash(backyard desert) behind my house.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I did taking them :)
