Few Of My Favorite Things

Thursday, January 30, 2014

As you have probably guessed by the title I am wearing some of my favorite items. I had planned for this outfit all week because today it was in the 80s! 81 to be exact was the high today. Which is just unbelievable that Arizona has decided to skip Winter and just head right for Spring. Which is too bad because Winter/Fall are my favorite time of year. I love wearing leggings and layering. Let me know in the comments what your favorite time of year is!!!

My black dress is from Target and I have worn it so many time this past year and this new year that has begun! My kimono is new from Tilly's and I am also obsessed with it. I love that it's so long and not short that barely hits my waist. Finally I topped I off with my turquoise necklace I got for my bithday and favorite black booties from Christmas!!!

Enjoy!

The Little Things

Tuesday, January 21, 2014

Hey all!

So today was actually... Relaxing! Haha. I didn't really do anything stressful or boring it was really nice. My friend Kerissa and I went and got sushi for lunch and it was nice to catch up with a friend. It's so hard to find friends to eat sushi with me and the place we went to was great. It has this conveyor belt that goes around the resturant with at least three plates for each item. The food ranges from the color of the plate! Like purple is $5 and white is $1.50. So you could get 7-9 plates for about $20. I think it's a good deal an the food really is good.

On another note, I did just get the Naked 3 palette *squeals for joy*!!!! And I completely fell in love with it. I am going to do a step by step tutorial on my eye look in these photos evaluate I have. Been. Obsessed.

Enjoy!
Xoxo,

Malori

Pink & White Cutouts

Sunday, August 11, 2013

Hello there!

Sorry I haven't been posting everyday. Since I have started school again I do have other activities after school and homework so I'am trying my best to post every other day instead but no promises. Expect there to be random posts from now and then later on this year!

So back to my outfit, I finally replaced my leggings this weekend (my old ones got torn apart when I fell down the stairs at school last year). Anyways... I love them they are much more comfortable than my old ones. Paired it with some pink jewelry and flats to dress it up a bit!

First Day Of School

Thursday, August 8, 2013

Today was my last FIRST day of school. It was totally different driving to school this morning and getting to leave early. Probably the worst thing is the light is so short so there was a huge line so we were late.
Here is a picture:

So I decided I would make a post about some options for the first day. My friends from my some of my other posts Rachel, and Bailey both made one's for me and wrote small descriptions of how they put the outfit together!

xoxo,
Malori

Me:

I had my sister help me pick out my outfit. I picked out my new turquoise shirt from target. I totally couldn't find a pair of shorts to go with it and my sister finds my lace shorts! It was meant to be. I then topped it off with my leopard flats and some gold jewelry!

Rachel:

Rachel says, "I started out with the tank, then matched the shorts to an under laying color in the top. I went with converse to make the look 'sporty' and accessorized with shells, wooden beads, and a pendant to top it off."

Shirt- Kohls// Shorts- H&M// Shoes- Converse// Jewelry- Kohls, Wet Seal

Bailey:

Bailey says, "I always look forward to the beginning of the year, especially the first day to roll out a new and super fashionable outfit. After all the first day is the day you meet all your teachers, and any new students in your classes! It is a big day for forst impressions. My back to school outfit this year consisted of a 100% cotton white button down shirt with adorable studs. I chose this particular top because it is super cool (considering it is hot here) yet casual AND a bit fancy. I paired it with a mint blue, high-waisted skaterskirt (also 100% cotton). "

"I decided to go with fairly simple jewelry, so I just dawned a cute pink watch, and a blue beaded bracelet. You can also see the studs on my collar better here."

"Lastly I wore a pair of nude sandals with gold embellishments! I thought it polished of the look very well!"

My Favorite Dress: Part 2

Tuesday, August 6, 2013

My new favorite thing lately has been Skater dresses or an A-Line dress. I have seen them so often on the Youtube channels I subscribe to and Blogs and T.V shows and even just around school.

I have one from awhile ago and I actually got it from Target (go figure). Where I get all my dresses pretty much. Any who, Its just a simple black skater dress. The reason I have been loving them so much is because they always hit the best places on any girl. It accentuates the waist perfectly. They hit either right above my knee or at my knee and are just super comfortable. I personally hope this trend stays for awhile.

This was me during the school year. I paired my dress with a Forever 21+ belt, my Target leopard flats, and my bubble necklace from Charming Charlie!

Here are some other dresses I have been loving from Forever 21+!

xoxo,
Malori

1) This is a cute flirty dress you could wear to the movies or on a date! I think blue is really in this year. It's the only color I have been buying lately.

2) The black stripes on the shoulders make this dress a little more edgy and sophisticated than the others. It would go great with some combat boots!

3) TRIBAL PRINT! I have been dying to get my hands on something like this. I love prints like this that add a little touch to an boring outfit.

4) Thought I would throw in one that's a little different than the rest. It's sleeveless like mine but it has this broken glass/galaxy graphic going on which I personally find different!

New Fashion Favs

Monday, July 8, 2013

Some of my favorite pieces of clothing lately are the maxi skirt, galaxy leggings, skater skirts, and colored pants.

1) Skater Skirt- This skirt is so flowy. I love how comfortable and stylish it makes the outfit look. I have recently seen that people either tuck in their shirt or wear crop tops for a more vintage look.

2) Galaxy Leggings- Where do I even begin with how cool this new trend is. I have been loving pattern leggings to add something to a neutral outfit. Plus they are leggings so they are really comfy.

3) Maxi Skirt- I can't even explain how much I have loved this skirt this year. I can wear it in ALL the seasons and it still works! It is flowy, I can wear it high-waisted, etc. Can't say enough good things.

4) Colored Pants- Again I can't say enough good things about this new on again off again trend. I feel like last year they weren't all that popular but started to become a good staple piece to brighten up an outfit!

Enjoy these Pinterest photos!

xoxo,

Malori

Love this so much! Might do an outfit like this soon?

Might try a day- night outfit next time.

On my instagram I styled an outfit similar to this! Check it out.

Summer Heat

Lately in Arizona it has been really HOT. Like in the 115-120 degree weather hot. So it's been a little tough going outside to take pictures without sweating. But I don't disappoint so here is an outfit I love!

I found this shirt at Target with my best friend and of course I fell in love with it as soon as I saw..... it was on sale ;). It's flowy and has gold flecks behind the cutouts on the front. It's really good for all seasons I think because I can just push the sleeves up if I get too hot. Moving on to my shorts. Oh my goodness... I have been seeing this lace short trend for awhile this year and I just had to order them from Forever 21. The are perfect to dress up an outfit if you are going to dinner!

P.s. if you do live in the heat than definitely have sunscreen on because you will get a burn when being out there for just 10 minutes.

Have an awesome day!

xoxo Malori

Happy 4th of July!

Thursday, July 4, 2013

Sorry I haven't posted in weeks! But hopefully this will make up for it! :)

I love spending the Fourth of July with friends! This year my sister and I are hanging out with some of our youth group friends and will light sparklers and what not.

I don't know about you but I always try to find a 4th shirt or something. But this year I remembered my striped shorts from Forever 21, but looked up and down for something red. Found my peplum top in the corner! Then I just put on my bauble necklace and I was ready to go!!

Enjoy my outfit and be safe out there!

I got a hair cut by the way! ;)

I got this shirt from Target some time this year and I really wanted a peplum top because I had seen them on a few other bloggers sites. I'm not so sure about the sleeves but its perfect for the 4th!

My Go-To Outfit

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

So I finally made it home! Yay!! I was really sad to leave my cousin's but happy to be back in my own bed. And man oh man was it humid in Texas. I have no clue how people can go outside and enjoy the day without  having a mini fan in their back pocket.

Then again I live in Arizona and have a pool I swim in during the 114 summer heat.

Anyways this is a post about my favorite clothes/jewelry. I am wearing one of my all time favorite shirt because its black, so I can wear it with almost everything, and its just comfortable. I'm also wearing my cameo studded shorts that I LOVE. I have already had an outfit post about it too so you know I love them (expect them in the future too).

Also I am wearing my cameo headband with this bow on top. It's sooooooo stinking cute and goes with my shorts perfectly!

Enjoy my pictures!

What I Pack

Thursday, June 6, 2013

So this week I am going to Texas for my cousin's graduation! I' am so proud of him and can't wait to see the rest of my family. Unfortunately I am sick so it's kinda poor timing to catch a cold right before I leave... So I will be posting an outfit post no matter what while I am in Texas.

This post is about how I personally pack when I am going on a trip from tops, shorts, makeup, carry on bag, etc.. If you have questions on some of the clothes or other items and where I got them then comment!

Enjoy!

First I put all the clothes and everything that's going to be in my suit case on my bed.

Left-Right: Hairspray, Makeup brushes, Makeup, Jewelry,  Toiletries, Shampoo/Conditioner

This is my carry on bag (Target) and what I put in it. Love my Bali Mango/Malibu Heat spray!

Then I put all my shorts at the bottom of my suitcase.

I put my shirts on top of the shorts I would wear with them. (It's easier to just  grab form the bottom of the bag)

Finally I put my bags/hairbrushes/hairspray/etc.. in last.
The clothes I pack are usually basic's. I only brought 2 nice shirts in case we go out to eat at night but most of my shirts are all brown, black, and grey. Neutral so I can add color with a statement necklace or floral/printed shorts. I am also bringing 2 sandals (brown/black).

For my makeup I bring my Naked palette by Urban Decay because it is just everyday looks. Then for jewelry I am bringing 2 statement color necklaces and the rest are long necklaces for an everyday on-the-go look.

This is what I bring on my trip and how I pack!

Brown and Studs

Friday, May 31, 2013

So I finally got around to do this post! I will try to find a better place and camera to take pictures with because these weren't the best photos... but I still love this outfit and that is the whole point!

My inspiration for this outfit comes from Pinterest (shocker there) and it was a pin from awhile ago that I recently fell in love with again! When I found this shirt at H & M I totally wasn't going to buy it. But since I did I'am SO glad I didn't pass it up. I now have a very versatile shirt that can be dressed up or dressed down! Plus it has studs!!!!

So enjoy this outfit and I'll post more later in the week!
